Antique/Vintage Old Robust Chunky Leather Suitcase/Trunk Substantial Locks-Lined

  
Robust, heavy duty old leather suitcase/trunk with substantial locks, originally designed to take a padlock in addition to locking with a key (sadly no key today). Two side handles, reinforced corners and original mustard coloured fabric lining with pockets to inner lid and sides. It's had a sympathetic, light clean whilst still retaining. All of its natural ageing & character. 20" x 13" x 7 high. Other interesting vintage items listed. Please read: Condition: vintage, used item, with cosmetic imperfections commensurate with age; The outer shows usual scuffs and scratches, with subsequent colour loss/wear/crispness to parts, some loose stitching above the locks, this may signify there was once an external strap, no longer there.

More wear to corners, handles are well attached and robust as are locks, all metal parts are tarnished, there is no key or padlock. Inside the original lining in the main is not too bad given age, the elastic pockets are still taut, there is some grubbiness and staining but not too bad.
