1960-70s M Taffeta Evening Wedding Gown Space-Age Tassel A-Line Long Ivory Dress. This is an Original dress handmade most likely around winter 1969 thru 1971. Wedding gown of its time with a no waistline style seen in Haute-Couture in this short period of time. Formal gown as well as a brides maid dress.

Loose waistline, from 1960s to 1970s with a mock neck and long sleeves. A winter formal dress or wedding dress. Dress is fully lined with white cotton.

Zipper back opens all the way to buttocks. Dress hem hits above ankle or at lower calf. This look from the 1960s / 70s is surprising, to modern eyes and very simple in spirit. It is very wearable today.

A totally unique handmade dress. Fabric is in very good condition but shows some sign of use in certain areas. Some of the raffia tassels are lose and need sewing.

Vintage dresses size were very different in the 60s, 70s. Please review measurements below to make sure this dress will fit. Material: Satin taffeta ivory fabric and cotton lining. Size: unmarked (possibly Medium) review measurement below for proper fit. Length from shoulder to hem: 48.

Sleeve length: 20 - Sleeves have a point on back of hand toward fingers. Armpit opening of sleeve: 15 (diameter).

Diameter of dress at bottom hem: 47. Original metal zipper by IDEAL brand. Condition: In very good vintage condition. Tassels beads in front of dress and on chest will need to be reattached and tightened. Seam back of left sleeves is coming slightly undone at shoulder.

Can be easily repaired by seamstress. Dress has several little hooks around shoulders, neck area, which indicate that it is missing a piece. These hooks could have been to secure a veil or a cape, and a fur vest.
