Antique Victorian princess line christening gown, which has been produced from white cotton which has embroidered whitework to the bodice, sleeves and robing to the skirt. The gown has a "V"shaped panel of floral embroidered whitework to the bodice which is edged with matching trim. The skirt of the gown has a deep inverted "V" panel, which has matching embroidered whitework detail. The gown fastens to the back via a cord ties to the waist and neck.

AGE - Victorian, circa 1860's. MEASUREMENTS - Gown Chest = 18" (under bodice/arms) Sleeve= 2" (shoulder to cuff) Length= 40½ (shoulder to hem). CONDITION - The gown is in very good condition for age and delicate nature. Please refer to the above photographs for details of condition.
