Absolutely beautiful early 1970s vintage empire line maxi dress from BIBA. In a gorgeous mossy green, this is probably one of the most beautiful dresses Ive had the good fortune to encounter. What was particularly lovely though was being able to talk to the original owner, who wore this dress on her 21st birthday in 1972.

As you can see from the photo she looked amazing and she (and the dress) are just a beautiful today, nearly 50 years later, as then. The bodice and full length ballon sleeves are semi sheer, with three buttons on the cuffs and the skirt is fully lined. Generally in fantastic condition, the only slight SNAFU is that the zip is totally seized (no budging whatsoever). Wears as modern size 8, bust 32 inches, empire line level 30 inches, length from shoulder to hem 54 inches. DM me for further details or photos.
