Wonderful, authentic vintage 1940s WWII day/utility dress. This could not be any cuter! So classic and well constructed. Size tag says Size 14. This is not the contemporary size.

Fit compares to a woman's size S. 37.5" chest, 27.5" waist, 40 hip. Strange clay brown fabric that just screams a 1940s trend color. Heavy, drapey, substantial rayon gabardine with a diagonal denim weave. Short sleeves have fold back cuff.

Pleated shoulder creates a crisp angle. Zip front is hidden and ends with a snap at neck. Back pleating makes waist look tiny. NOTE: belt loops with no belt. Excellent vintage condition: no stains, damage, scents, flaws, or apparent wear.

Width, across chest, under arm to under arm: 18.75. Width, across waist: 13.75.
