This is a vintage 1960s tailored shift dress with matching jacket and belt. It is made of green silk taffeta in an abstract floral design.
Both dress and jacket are fully lined in pale green silk. Dress has a vertical slit at center front of neckline and closes with a side zipper.
Jacket has a high round neckline and closes with a single covered button. Jacket has short raglan sleeves, dress is sleeveless. Both dress and jacket have some minor damage to the lining.
There are a number of small holes, presumably insect damage, and a few discolored spots (these damaged areas are shown in the photos). No apparent damage to exterior fabric of either dress or jacket. Belt has apparently been shortened, as it is shorter than the waist measurement of the dress. This dress was handmade, so there are no brand, fabric, size, or care tags.Due to the fabric content (silk) it should be dry cleaned only. Dress length (center back neck to hem) 42. Jacket length (center back neck to hem) 17.5.
Belt (end of buckle to center hole) 27.
