Scaasi designed special occasion dresses for Oscars and Inaugurations.. This garment is likely from the late 1950s based on the brand tag typography referenced from the Vintage Fashion Guild. This Parisian designer moved to NYC and begin making couture gowns for private clients and ready to wear dresses and menswear in 1956.

This gorgeous piece was likely from that era. It features a beautiful silk taffeta material cut in a simple, classic fit and flare silhouette. It's a flattering 3/4 sleeve top with a glamorous A-line skirt. The muted emerald color is versatile. And absolutely stunning in person.
