Vntg Gunne Sax Soft Dusty Purple Floral Prairie Boho Maxi Dress17' Sweep Hem13

  
This is a Lovely Vintage Prairie/Boho Dress, made by Gunne Sax, in Young Women's size 13. I wore this to prom in 1979 but it's time to go! It has a Dusty Purple Background with Various shades of Purple, Pink, Gray, and White tiny florals all over. The front yoke is White Lace over a Soft White Voile interior. The Billowy Long Sleeves are Semi Sheer White Voile, with single button close at the wrist.

Directly under the V neckline is a Lace Up Accent that will actually show skin underneath! It's Very Daring for that time period! It has a Long Tie Back and Long Centered Zipper in Back for easy in, easy out. The skirting is Very Full, measuring over 17 feet around, as you can see in the photos!

There is a White Lining in the skirt that is as long as the skirt! Purple Satin Ribbon Bands accent the waist and lower skirt areas. The Dress is still in Excellent Condition and has been laundered.

I do see a Couple small orange spots that did not come out after laundering. You may be able to see them in the close up photos.

The 1st is at the left side White Lace Neckline. It's about 1/2 diameter. The 2nd is at the right side White Lace Neckline.

The print is 65% polyester, 35% cotton. The Voile is 65% polyester, 35% cotton. The Lace is 100% nylon.

The lining is 100% acetate. Bust: 17" underarm to underarm (34" around). Waist: 14" side to side (28" around). The Sweep around the Hemline is 210 around, or 17.5 feet!
