Vintage Shannon Rodgers for Jerry Silverman Dress Sleeveless Wool Wrap Dress Fully Lined Pussy Bow Knee Length. Vintage 1960's "Shannon Rodgers for Jerry Silverman" dress. It is made of black virgin wool It features a high neckline with a pussy bow and deep plunge V (there is a hidden hook and eye closure for modesty) huge faceted rhinestone snaps down the front.

It has a fitted waist and original matching belt, a full satiny lining. This dress is stunning in every way! It is nicely tailored and of the finest quality. The beautiful style is a timeless classic. Belt is stamped a size 14, but please use measurements for an accurate fit as vintage runs small.

Measurements(laying flat): 18" bust 15" waist 23" hips 40" length shoulder to hem. It is in excellent condition with some very small rips in the lining fabric in the armpit area of the right arm Some very light "deoderant" marks in the lining of both arms 3 small white dots in the bow of the belt the bellt is not in the best condition and is a bit misshapen.

Rodgers previously designed for the movies and later worked with Silverman at Martini, a dress company that did adaptations of Paris designs. Rodgers and Silverman continued this practice in their designs and were known for their Americanized versions of Balenciaga designs. Rodgers and Silverman did simple, but elegant, dresses, often with a single decoration to add interest.
