This is a rare designer gem from Nicole Miller in her glory days of the 1980s and 90s. She became legendary for her hand painted, limited series garments that married fashion and art. Her designs were always a swirling, collage-style, intricate and brightly colored expression that always had an specific theme.

In this case the theme is motorcycles on the desert road. Channel your inner Stevie Nicks while spinning in this dresses colors of turquoise, dusty rose, ivory and yellow compose a collage of motorcycle parts (spokes, engines, chrome tail pipes, handle bars etc) and sandy desert roads and dunes and flowers all on a light and soft chiffon silk.

The dresss lining is also 100% silk. Both shell and lining are brilliantly cut and sewn in a fun, feminine handkerchief style dress.

Turquoise blue sequins artfully highlight various aspects of the design. Nicole Millers signature also appears several times at different places in the design like on the inner rim of the wheel.
